Basic is free forever. Plus is $20 per month, or $150 per year (that works out to $12.50/month), and adds more monthly usage, image generation, and AI textbook review. Teams and schools get volume pricing with centralized seat management.

Yes. Every lesson is fully editable before students ever see it.

Yes. Your instructional materials remain your intellectual property and are not used to train public AI models.

Accounts students create themselves are 13+, with an age check at signup. Under-13 students use HoloTutor only through accounts a school creates, and a school can only create them once an administrator has confirmed in writing that they are authorized to create accounts for its students — we record who confirmed it and when, and account creation is blocked until they do. That is enforced in the product, not just promised. Districts can also sign a formal data-protection agreement with us. Schools keep control of the records: email info@holotutor.ai to have a student’s data exported or deleted and we will action it within 30 days, usually much sooner. Student accounts get no marketing email and no analytics or advertising identifiers. No AI provider we use trains on student content. Published retention periods are enforced by an automated deletion job. Full detail, including every third party that receives data, is at holotutor.ai/policy.

Yes. We work from the SDPC National Data Privacy Agreement (NDPA v2.2) unless your district has its own paper, in which case send it over. Email info@holotutor.ai to start. You do not have to wait for it to create student accounts — a team-lead can confirm in the product that they are authorized to do so, which unlocks creation immediately; the agreement is the stronger record and governs where one exists.
